Next 13 May 2022, our project coordinator and partner from Sinloc, Andrea Martinez, will act as a moderation during the Roundtable dedicated to "Environmental Dimension: Energy Transition and Climate Change" at the Island Commission of the Conference of Peripheral Maritime Regions of Europe. This organisation covers 19 island authorities in the Mediterranean and Baltic seas and Atlantic, Indian and Pacific Oceans, which means an estimated population of 15 million inhabitants.

The NESOI partner - Hellenic Association for Energy Economics is happy to announce that the 6th Energy Transition Symposium “Looking Ahead with Optimism, Beyond the Covid Era”, will be held from Tuesday, 28 September to Friday, 1 October 2021, at Theoxenia Palace Hotel, in Kifissia, Athens. For yet another year, the annual Symposium will serve as an open-dialogue platform, where state, academia and private sector representatives will contribute to debates and exchange of views on crucial energy matters.
The EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) took place on 25-29 October 2021 under the theme: ‘Towards 2030: Reshaping the European Energy System’.
Last year, EUSEW went completely digital and this year, unfortunately, the situation did not change. The event comprised a 3-day digital Policy Conference, the EUSEW Awards, the second European Youth Energy Day as well as 1:1 video meetings, virtual stands and other networking activities. Participants will also had access to online side events and Sustainable Energy Days, digital events taking place all over Europe.
The European Week of Regions and Cities is an annual four-day event during which cities and regions showcase their capacity to create growth and jobs, implement European Union cohesion policy, and prove the importance of the local and regional level for good European governance. This year it will take place online on the 11th-14th October.
The 9th annual edition of Sustainable Places (SP2021) will be a hybrid event, from 29th September to 1st October, with the in-person sessions to be hosted in Rome, Italy.
