Salina Green Energy Days is a forum focused on energy policy, public programs and technologies available for the implementation of the Salina Transition Agenda. It will take place on the Italian island from the 8th to the 11th of September 2022.

This year’s edition of the Clean energy for EU islands forum is entitled “From clean energy vision to clean energy action”, and it will take place on the Greek island of Rhodes on 17-18 May. The European Commissioner for Energy, Kadri Simson, will welcome participants on the first day and the opening will be followed by high-level political panel discussions, workshops and site visits, showing examples of how to move from clean energy vision to clean energy action.
The Hellenic Association for Energy Economics (HAEE) will host the 17th IAEE European Energy Conference with the title "The Future of Global Energy Systems" in Athens, next 21-24 September 2022.
COVID-19 has evidenced many economic and societal vulnerabilities, which have also affected energy systems worldwide. This is precisely why this specific topic was chosen: countries are dependent on their energy mix if they want to succeed in the global energy transition efforts, while ensuring a fair and affordable access to energy.
Next 14-16 June 2022, our partner Deloitte will be present at GENERA, the International Energy and Environment Fair which will take place in Madrid. GENERA is a fair that targets a very wide range of stakeholders from the industry (emnergy users, suppliers, manufacturers, promoters, etc.) interested in energy efficiency and renewabale energies.

Next 13 May 2022, our project coordinator and partner from Sinloc, Andrea Martinez, will act as a moderation during the Roundtable dedicated to "Environmental Dimension: Energy Transition and Climate Change" at the Island Commission of the Conference of Peripheral Maritime Regions of Europe. This organisation covers 19 island authorities in the Mediterranean and Baltic seas and Atlantic, Indian and Pacific Oceans, which means an estimated population of 15 million inhabitants.

Greening the Islands Convention 2021 is an International Conference and Exhibition that developed online in its 8th edition, and ran from 19-21 October.
